The Earl Grey Pouch is perfect for travel or everyday carry. It's big enough to hold a full quart sized ziplock for toiletries when flying, or everyday essentials like sunglasses, snacks, keys, earbuds, and your wallet.
Backstory - The Earl Grey Pouch is named after a foster kitten we took care of and fell in love with in the spring of 2026. He was absolutely adorable and found the perfect forever home.
It features a full zipper closure with two flat pockets on the outside and two flat pockets on the inside. All pockets are optional. The finished pouch measures 7 1/2" wide, 5.5" tall, 2" deep.

Skill level: Beginner. If you can sew a straight line, you can make this pouch! There are no curves to sew.
Fabric Requirements:
Medium weight, 5oz - 10oz per sq/yd, 1 piece 36" wide x 18" tall
Hardware Requirements:
- #5 nylon coil zipper, 1.25” wide, 15.25” long (metal teeth zipper not recommended)
- #5 zipper slider, 1-2 sliders, 2 sliders optional to open pouch from both ends
- Grosgrain ribbon binding, 3/4” wide, 38” long, optional seam finish and zipper tabs
- Paracord, 1-2 pieces 11” long, optional zipper pull, 2 pieces for 2 zipper pulls
- Hook and loop, 1 piece 1.75” square, loop side, optional for patch
